Back in town

Hi folks. This summer has been a difficult one with the death of my father-in-law, and I've been gone a lot, so I haven't been posting. But I'm back in town and should stay planted for awhile. When we got back I took out the things I had been working on and realized this painting was done. I guess it just needed some time to sit. It's called Contingency Plan.

    Hi Kristin. First. I tell you I'm sorry for what happened to your father-in-law.
    I came to your blog from time to time to see if you show something new. but until two days I went without that joy.
    And I've seen this magnificent creation of yours.But as I was in bed with the flu, I could not let this comment.
    Once again I see something that leaves me speechless.
    I really like your drawing style. subtle surrealism, with touches of almost Renaissance composition and treatment!
