Snow White and the Dwarfs

This is another image from the Snow White group I painted for Core Knowledge. I thought it could work for this week's topic on Illustration Friday, "little things."

  1. that is, the COOLEST name i have ever heard of, for a cat. you must have sketched him a bagillion times already! :))

this is wonderful, kristin! i love your soft take on the dwarves figures, not too stereotyped and very "old school" looking. she's a wonderful study as well - great red and expression! :)

  7. I wasn't familiar with her, so I did a search and just loved the few images I found. So thank you very much, that's a big compliment. And I know exactly what I'm getting on my next trip to the library, as many Nancy Eckholm Burkert books as I can find!

  9. Beautiful as always. I love how each dwarf gets his own style. Love the green hunting cap and the victorian.
