Advice on Morals and Manners

This is my newest painting. On my website I've posted pictures of it progressing. Click here to view it on my website and follow the link to the demonstration.

First of all its a stunning painting - it reminds me of illuminated manuscripts and Alice in Wonderland, which is probably because of earnest conversations with cats. Second, thankyou for sharing the progress - it was fascinating to see how you work, and I would not have thought this was watercolour!

  2. The progressive demonstration is pretty cool--thanks for sharing your process. That takes guts-- I'd never be willing to share my artwork before it's finished. And I can definitely feel you on there being a point of panic in most pieces--an "oh dear, this is just terrible" moment that you have to work through.

This is BEAUTIFUL, by the way!

  12. This is amazing....so full of detail and imagery. The colour is so vivid and energetic. Makes me think of a cross between Keats' poetry and the Fables de la Fontaine, with a bit of pre-raphaelite thrown in.
