Layers

This week's topic on Illustration Friday is "layer", and even though I tried to make myself do something more grand like geological layers, or layers of meaning, all I could really think of was cake layers. Oh well, paint what you know!

  1. Kristin, does not matter. Anyway, what you do, it is always good. Congratulations. Great illustration.
I guess she's doing a prank. Test the cake without permission. :))

  7. Her white dress and red tights are a fantastic design choice.

I love your style. Your faces and compositions. Beautiful stuff.

I could go for some cake. Maybe I'll go put on my red socks.

  12. You need some more art. You have developed such a wonderful style, it is a shame not to exercise it regularly.

Truly, you have a great sense of things artistically. Looking forward to more art.

    Hope all is well.

  14. Kristen! I always loved your art at Union, and now, with the help of Scott Cushman, I tracked you down again. Yay! I love what you're doing now; your style has really changed, but the subject matter is still totally up my alley.
